Spring is in the air!
The facility director is Victoria Smith. Mrs. Victoria holds certifications in Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE 1) and the Infant and Toddler Montessori Credential from the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) and The American Montessori Society (AMS). She has a Bachelor’s degree in Art from Fort Hays State University. Mrs. Victoria also holds a Staff Credential, Director’s Credential from the Florida Department of Children and Families, and a National Administrative Credential from the National Institute of Child Care Management. Victoria has more than 19 years of experience in infant and toddler classrooms. She is a subject matter expert in infant and toddler curriculum and has developed and delivered hundreds of customized lesson plans. She also designs purposeful environments that support a respectful approach to infant and toddler experiential learning.
Administration for the Center is led by Don Smith. Mr. Don currently serves our nation in a career position with the federal government. He has more than 25 years of government service, to include: serving as an instructor for various topics. He is an expert in accreditation process, policy, and compliance. Don has served as a team leader, program manager, and an accreditation manager. He has also managed various divisions in support of training for federal law enforcement. Don holds an Associate of Science degree in Teacher Education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. He is a combat veteran of the United States Army and former Georgia State Trooper. Don completed the Florida Department of Children and Families basic 45-hour requirements. He also holds a Montessori leadership credential from the International Montessori Council.
